I've done many brilliant things in my life. However, I think all of them pale next to the realization that you can make instant pudding in an old peanut butter jar. And then eat it.
Salads in jars is a brilliant idea. Pudding-in-a-jar is just a way of being super lazy/making fewer dishes. We buy our pudding mix in baggies from our local Mennonite market (yes, I really do live in the country), so basically I can put a third-cup of mix in the jar, one cup milk, put the lid on, shake, wait ten minutes to thicken, and there is a delicious abundance of pudding. Too much pudding, in fact, because I'm lactose intolerant, but there you go.
1) put amount of pudding mix appropriate to one cup milk in jar (this is half a bag if you buy it in the boxes at the market, but we buy our pudding mix in bulk, because obviously
