Summary: She's lost him somewhere

A/N: Written for [personal profile] wendelah1, for her donation to famine relief in the Horn of Africa. For this prompt at the Uniform/Suit Kinkmeme. This may possibly become just as much a fic about my kink for Scully in suits, but, well. I think I'll be forgiven.

Want to get me to write a ficlet for you? Go here and let me know; I'm still taking prompts.

So, [livejournal.com profile] bravenewcentury is offering to write ficlets in return for donations towards famine relief in the Horn of Africa. Here's her offer post. Her fic is awesome, and you should go buy it.

I...I am totally strapped for time right now, but fuck it. The first five people to donate $5 or more (or local equivalent) can give me a prompt, and I'll write 100-500 words. Definitely I'll write XF, but also Doctor Who, Fringe, Hawaii Five-O (you can shut up), and probably anything else you know I watch and love.

If more than five people want to buy ficlets from me, I'll fill after that as first-come, first-served.

My charity of choice is the World Food Programme, but any experienced aid-giver is fine with me. UK folks, the DEC Appeal is apparently the go-to place for y'all.

Keep 'em coming! At least two more slots...
A-ha! I have started a Free Rice team here. To join, you have to make an account, and then join the group. If you want your totals to count towards the team total, you have to log in while you

For those who haven't played in a while, Free Rice now both starts at an easier level, and has much harder high levels. When I'm playing English vocabulary, I now start myself at level 20 or 30, rather than working through 60 words of elementary school spelling lists. But the other categories are a ton of fun. Tonight I did basic math, and then had to google how to divide fractions! And then I did French vocab, and didn't get one wrong until level neuf! I also like doing the "identify famous paintings" one, because, c'mon, paintings!

For those who haven't played, FreeRice is a trivia game that fundraises for the World Food Programme, which is my charity of choice. While the amount that you actually, personally contribute is limited (I've counted; 100 grains of rice is about a teaspoonful), it is a pleasant diversion, and one that appears to be a net social positive.

So, come. Play. Geek out. It's fun.

Does anyone else play FreeRice? I am vaguely dismissive of its actual charitable potential, but it's morally superior to playing Bejeweled Blitz, and so I frequently alternate them. Anyway, now you can have teams! I vaguely want to get a Phile team going. Or a generalized fangirl team, if enough of you don't ID that way. Anyone want to join in?
