Once again, I wanted to say how much I enjoyed reading this. When I started in nursing less than 10% of medical school students were women, now it's 50%. I suspect women are still underrepresented in pathology (no stats that I could find, no women's organization) just as they are over-represented in pediatrics, which is one of the reasons I love how many medical examiners were women in The X-Files.

It's just good to see Scully with friends she can talk to about her work. Everyone needs friends like that. It's one of the things that was so wonderful about hanging out with Carol when we were writing our aborted fic--she is also an RN and we could talk about work--and The X-Files. It was a match made in heaven. Oh well. Life goes on. But--anyway--excellent fic. Thank you, again.
